At approximately 3pm on Saturday 20 November 2010, Maysara Mohammed As-Sa'idi, 18, was injured in the leg when an unknown explosive device exploded.
He was injured while he was in an field that located one kilometer from the border fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel, south east of the Al Buriej refugee camp.
He was admitted to the Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al Balah town where his injury was described as moderate.
In a separate incident, at approximately 4:30pm on Thursday 11 November 2010, 'Aref Shehada Qassem Al Maqadma, 43, was injured when an unknown explosive device exploded.
He was injured while he was near his house southeast of the Al Buriej refugee camp.
In his affidavit to Al Mezan, Al Maqadma said that he was collecting tree branches from one of the orchards near his house to use it for fire at home.
He found a metal fragment.
When he held it in his hands, it exploded and two of his left hand fingers were amputated.
