9am on Sunday 9 May 2010, the Gaza Government’s internal security apparatus summoned two Fatah members to its office in Jabalia refugee camp, in North Gaza district.
They were detained there for several hours before they were released, but after issuing them with other summonses to return to the apparatus’ office on Monday 10 May 2010.
On the same day, the internal security apparatus in Gaza summoned another five Fatah members to its office, also in Jabalia, on Monday and Tuesday.
These summonses are of political nature.
The summonses come as the 62nd anniversary of the Palestinian Nakaba approaches, which marks the forced displacement of Palestinians in 1948 when the State of Israel was created.
