12:15am on Monday 26 April 2010, three armed men open fire on Mahmoud Ahmed Al Masri, 21, while he was sitting near his home in Block 6 in Jabalia refugee camp, in North Gaza District.
According to medical sources at Kamal Odwan Hospital, Al Masri was shot by seven bullets in the legs and his injures are described as critical.
Al Masri was referred to the intensive care unit at Shifa Hospital.

6am on Wednesday 28 April 2010, medical sources at Shifa Hospital announced his death.
One of the passersby called Mustafa Jihad Afana, 22, was also injured in this incident and he was shot in the abdomen.
According to medical sources at Kamal Odwan Hospital, his injures are described as moderate.
According to Al Mezan's field investigation, police opened an investigation and arrested the perpetrators.
The reasonsbehind this incident is a personal feud.
