IOF withdraw from north Beit Hanoun, fortifying eastern borders

On 19 January 2007, at app.
4pm, the IOF withdrew from the area located north of the School of Agriculture in north Beith Hanoun.
The Israeli military force, which consisted of 7 tanks, had penetrated the area on 17 January.
Here, the IOF had been conducting maintenance work on the Separation Wall and had leveled 300m of land on Gaza's northern border following the armed clashes that took place in the same area.
Furthermore, according to field information, on the 20th of January the IOF fenced 8 meters high along the borders opposite Beith Hanoun's memorial in order to protect the Israeli tourist area on the other side of the barrier.
