At app. 8am, on 14/1/2008, six IOF military vehicles penetrated the industrial zone of Erez, and began demolishing some remnants of former factories in the area. They opened fire sporadically in the vicinity of the area, withdrawing at app. 4:30pm that day. However, on the following day, at app. 8:30am, they resumed the incursion and remain in the area until app. 16:30pm.
