12:30pm, on 18/1/2008, Jamal Madi, 40, was shot by a live bullet to his hand.
The incident occurred when the police arrested him from his home in Khirbat Al Adas in Rafah.
At the time of the arrest, there was an exchange of fire between his family and the police.
When he tried to escape, the police opened fire at him, causing his injury.
He was transferred to the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis for treatment.
