At app. 7.30 am on the 21 of March 2007, an explosion occurred in a training site for Izz Ad Din Al Qassam Brigades in the former Israeli settlement of Neve Dekalim where some Qassam militant were conducting trainings. The explosion resulted in the killing of Wa'il Mahmoud Hamouda, 32, and the injury of another who was reported moderately injured.
