On 30 March 2008, at app. 4.30, Ahmed Shehada Al Amour was sent to the Gaza European Hospital in khan younis as he was injured by shrapnel wounds to his arms as he found a suspect device in Al Fokhkhari area, in eastern Khan Younis, which detonated and caused his injury. He was reported to have sustained moderate injuries.
