At approximately 5:40pm, on 30 April 2008, IOF helicopters fired two missiles at a crowd of citizens, behind Salah a car maintenance workshop near to Rabi'ah Al Adwiya School in Rafah.
As a result, 33-year-old Awad Al Qeeq was killed from shrapnel wounds to different parts of his body.
Al Qeeq was a headmaster in an UNRWA school.
Also, 40-year-old Osama Al Houbi, was injured from shrapnel to different parts of his body.
Al Houbi's death was announced later at approximately 6:30pm on 3 May 2008.
Also, the sons of the workshop's owner were injured from shrapnel to different parts of their bodies while they were inside the workshop.
They were identified as, 9-year-old Amjad Salah and his brother 14-year-old Ahmed Salah.
