Rafah bakeries stopped working since Monday morning, 24 November 2008, due to the lack of cooking gas, while other bakeries stopped due to the lack of wheat flour.
Bread is not available in many other shops and a number of restaurants closed especially small ones that entirely depend on the cooking gas.
