At app. 5.30pm, on 23 December 2008, 20-year-old Hani Breika was injured by suffocation as a tunnel collapsed on him in Yebna area, close to the borderlines with Egypt. In a separate incident, 19-year-old khaled Al Sha'er was also injured in the same tunnel the day before. The two were reported to have sustained moderate injuries.
