Al Mezan Center for Human Rights received with great pleasure the awarding of its member, Samir Zaqout, and activist and friend, Mustafa Ibrahim, the freedom of expression prizes for the article category.
Samir Zaqout won the first place and Mustafa Ibrahim won the third place in on the list of the Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedom (MADA).
On Tuesday 3 May 2011, MADA organized a ceremony to celebrate the World Press Freedom Day and awarded the winners.
Al Mezan Center for Human Rights appreciates the efforts of MADA to defend the freedom of expression.
Al Mezan extends its congratulations to the two winners for their writings to defend freedom of expression.
