Short Link:
On 17 February 2005, Al Mezan Center for Human Rights ended its first training course on human rights and democracy in 2005.
The three-day-course was organized in coordination with Al Maghazi Society for Community Development, in the middle Gaza area.
It targeted a group of refugee women in the camp.
The 25 participants passed 18 training hours, which focused on the concepts, origins and mechanisms of human rights and democracy, with special attention to the economic and social rights, and women and children rights.
This course comes in harmony with the Center's continued efforts to work with the marginalized groups in the Gaza Strip.
