The Palestinian High Court yesterday ordered the Ministry of Interior to issue a decision on the application for registration of the "Palestinian Worker Relief Society".
The Court committee issued the decision on April 16th 2006, led by Advisor Soad Al Dajani and Advisory members Yahia Abu Shahla and Mazen Sisalem.
Al Mezan brought the lawsuit to the Court on behalf of the founders of the Palestinian Worker Relief Society.
Al Mezan Center for Human Rights welcomes the Court's position which aims at firmly establishing rights and public freedom according to the law and legislation; it also calls upon the Palestinian Ministry of Interior to immediately implement the Court's decision in order to impose the law and respect rights and public freedom.
