At 10:45am on Wednesday, 28 March 2018, Israeli forces accompanied by five bulldozers moved about 50-70 meters from Al Madrasa military site into eastern Burij. The forces bulldozed the land adjacent to the eastern separation line, and buttressed the fence with more barbed wires. The incursion continued through the evening of the same day.
