At 6:20am on Wendesday, 21 February 2018, the Ministry of Health announced the death of Ahmed Mohmmed Abo Helo, 18-year old resident of Burij refugee camp, in Shuhada Al Aqsa hospital in Deir Al Balah. Ahmed was shot in the head on Friday, 16 February 2018, while joining a demonstration of the “Capital Intifada” near the eastern borders of Burij. According to eye-witnesses, Ahmed was in Um Al Hasayna area in the east of Burij when Israeli forces shot him in the head; two men carried him to the ambulance nearby and he was rushed to Shuhada Al Aqsa hospital, where he stayed in the intensive care unit until his death.
