At 6:00pm on Sunday, 3 December 2017, Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen in boats sailing off the coast of Al Sudaneya in North Gaza governorate. The forces detained five fishermen. According to Al Mezan’s monitoring, Israeli warships opened fire at a boat carrying five fishermen while they were 4 nautical miles away from the shore of Al Sudaneya area, in North Gaza governorate. The warships rounded the boat, and Israeli forces confiscated the boat and detained five fishermen: Al Sayyed Nasser Al Halabi, 27, Ayman Ahmed Tolba, 35, Sami Nabil Abu Al Sadeq, 30, Mohammed Ahmed Abu Al Sadeq and the child Ihab Ahmed Tolba, 16. They are all residents of Al Shate’ refugee camp. At 11:50pm, Israeli forces released the five fishermen.
