On Tuesday morning, 24 January 2016, the Court of First Instance in Gaza sentenced KH. Sh., 36, resident Al Sheja’eya neighborhood, to death by hanging. He was accused of premeditate murder of Nahed Ibrahim Al Sawwaf, 45, during a family feud in 2010. The court also sentenced the second convicted, F. Sh, 32, resident of Al Sheja’eya neighborhood, to life imprisonment.
It’s worth mentioning that on Monday, 8 November 2010, a fight erupted between Nahed Ibrahim Al Sawwaf and the above-mentioned accused, in the market street in Al Sheja’eya neighborhood in Gaza City. The first convicted attacked Al Sawwaf while he was on his way to the mosque to pray Al Esha prayer, and stabbed him. Al Sawwaf died on Tuesday 9 November 2010.
