At approximately 7:00 pm on Sunday, 17 July 2016, police summoned Dr. Khader Attiya Mihjiz, 64, to its office in Jabaliya refugee camp. According to the police, public prosecution summoned Dr. Khader for a complaint filed against him. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Dr. Khader Mihkiz is summoned for his posts_en on Facebook account. He posted 126 posts_en entitled “How I became a Muslim Brother”. His arrest is on expressing opinion ground. He is still in detention as this news is being published at 8:54 am on Monday, 18 July 2016. Al Mezan’s lawyer attempted to visit him but all his attempts failed. Al Mezan got promise from the Minsitry of Interior to release Dr. Khader on the same day, however, public prosecutor decided to extend Dr. Khader’s detention for 48 hours.
