At approximately 6:00 am on Wednesday, 4 May 2016, ten Israeli tanks and bulldozers moved about 100 meters into Palestinian land adjacent to the separation fence south of Soufa crossing in the north of Al Shouka village in Rafah. The accompanying bulldozers built sand barriers to cover the excavations carried out by the Israeli military in the area. Israeli forces withdrew at 11:30 pm.
