At approximately 3:30 pm on Friday 22 April 2016, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stationed at Erez Crossing in Northern border, opened fire and launched tear gas canisters at tens of young men and children who were protesting against Israeli violations in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Clashes between the Israeli soldiers and the protesters lasted until 7:00 pm. As a result, two protesters suffered effects of tear gas inhalation. Medical staff of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) treated them in the field.
