At approximately 14:00 on Friday, 18 March 2016, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stationed at the borders, southeast of Al Bureij camp, launched tear gas canisters at Palestinian young men and children who were taking part in a peaceful protest against the Israeli violations in Jerusalem and the West Bank. As a result, three protestors suffered effects of tear gas inhalation, one of which was rushed to Al Aqsa Hospital. Clashes between protesters and the IOF lasted until 16:30.
