At approximately 7:30 am on Saturday, 30 January 2016, a number of people found a dead body in the evacuated settlements west of Khan Younis. According to witnesses, the body was subject to stabbed by a sharp tool. The police arrived at the scene and opened an investigation into the incident. The body was identified as Riyadh Sulaiman Abdelraheem Abu ‘Anza, 36, resident of Abasan Al Jadeeda village, who was reported missing on Thursday, 28 January 2016.
According to Al Mezan’s available information, the victim was stabbed by a sharp tool in different parts of his body, in his back;, neck, face, abdomen and chest, and the estimated number of stabs was more than 13. According to the police sources, investigations are still ongoing and the wife of the victim was detained for interrogation.
