Jana from Al Bureij camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip was a smart and active child. She had a distinct hair-style. She liked to play with her cousin Rital. She was close to her grandmother, who was killed in the same incident.
“On 29 July 2014, our house was bombarded by Israeli warplane missiles without prior warning. The house was destroyed and we were buried under the rubble,” said her uncle Bashir. Jana was killed at the age of eighteen months.
