Seventeen-year-old Fadi from the area of Wadi Al Saqqa in Deir Al Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip was a modest and generous child. He loved reading all kinds of different subjects. He liked children. Fadi’s ambition was to buy a motorcycle and build a nice house. He was very close to his cousin. Fadi helped his parents a great deal.
At 6:30 pm on 21 July 2014, an Israeli drone launched a missile at a group of youngsters, without warning. Five people were immediately killed including Fadi. “He died young. I feel so lonely and weak after his death. I wished to see him a teacher in the future," said his father.
