At approximately 1:00 pm on Saturday, 2 May 2015, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at a number of farmers who were east the Abu Safeyya border area, northeast Jabaliya in North Gaza district. No injuries were reported. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the IOF opened fire at farmers who were in their farms, about 200 meters away from the borders. As a result, farmers abandoned their work and left the area.
