At approximately 12:30 pm on Sunday, 23 April 2015, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at a number of Palestinian farmers who were east Abu Safeyya area east of Jabaliya in North Gaza district. At a result, Rami Salim Ramadan Mattar, 37, sustained a bullet wound in his left leg. Medical sources at Kamal Odwan Hospital described his injury as moderate. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the IOF opened fire at farmers who were about 300 meters away from the borders. As a result, Rami Matar was injured while he was in his family farm, and farmers in the neighboring farms abandoned their work and left the area.
