At approximately 4:00 pm on Monday, 17 November 2014, Israeli gunboats opened fire at two fishing boats that mooring the sea.
The boats were carrying fishing equipment; four generators and twelve lamps.
The boats were about one and a half nautical mile away from the fishermen port in Rafah.
As a result, one of the boats sank and caused severe physical damages to the second one.
The two boats are owned by the Al Bardaweel family in Rafah.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
