At approximately 11:35 am on Sunday 28 September 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at a number of Palestinians who were near the borders north of Bouret Abu Samra area north of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
As a result, Rajab Mohammed Rajab Ma’rouf, 23, resident of Beit Lahiya, sustained a bullet wound in his right leg, and medical sources in Kamal Odwan hospital described his injuries as moderate.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the wounded was in the place in order to collect scrap to sell it to factories to recycle it.
He was about 300 meters away from the border fence.
