At approximately 10:50 am on Wednesday 17 September 2014, an explosion took place in As-Sheikh Zayed city east of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza City.
As a result, Salah Ad-din Waleed Khaled Hammad, 13, sustained injuries at different parts of his body.
Medical sourced in Kamal Odwan hospital described his injuries as moderate, and referred him to Al Ouyon hospital in Gaza to continue his treatment.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the explosion is resulted from an explosion of an Israeli army remnant bomb which the child found while he was playing near to his place in As-Sheikh Zayed city, near the tower number (67) which the Israeli aircrafts destroyed in 26 August 2014.
