Short Link:
At approximately 9:30 am on Wednesday 15 January 2014, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the sea north and west Al Waha area- near the maritime borders- west of Beit Lahya in North Gaza district.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Israeli gunboats rotate in high speeds around fishing boats in order to make artificial waves and sink the boats and hinder their movement.
As a result, fishermen sailed to land immediately.
