At approximately 10:00 pm on Saturday 9 November 2013, Internal Security Apparatus summoned Maher Mohammed Ibrahim Abu Herbeed, 51, the Secretary General of Fatah Movement in North Gaza district, to its office in Jabaliya refugee camp.
He was released after some hours.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the detaining is on the ground of practicing political activities related to Fatah.
This incident comes with the approaching of the death anniversary of the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.
