In the morning hours on Saturday 7 September 2013, police general investigation department summoned Ahmed Ali Al Kafarna, 52, and Akram Ibrahim Tawfeq Hamad, 48, to its office in Beit Hanoun.
They are still in detention when this piece of news was being published at 1:30 pm on 10 September 2013.
Hamad was summoned twice in one week.
On Wednesday 4 September 2013, police general investigation department summoned four Fatah activists to its office.
Al Mezan has identified their names as follows:
Ayman Ibrahim Hamad,42;
Fawaz Mohammed Hamad, 50;
Sayel Sa’adi Al Kafarna, 33; and
Daoud Attallah Abu Oda, 35.
They were released after few hours except Abu Oda who was referred to the internal security apparatus office in the evening hours on Wednesday 4 September 2013, On 8 September 2013, the apparatus released Abu Oda.
Sayel Al Kafarna was released on 27 September 2013.
On Tuesday 3 September 2013, the police general investigation department summoned Nabeel Mohammed Al Othmani, 52, and Mohammed Jameel Nashwan, 25.
They were released after few hours.
At approximately 8:00 am on Tuesday 3 September 2013, the police general investigation department summoned four Fatah activists to its office.
Al Mezan identified them as follows:
Ismail Mohammed Al Hwehi, 37;
Muafaq Adnan Al Kafarna, 37;
Tareq Adnan Al Kafarna, 31; and
Maher Ali Al Shinbari, 46.
They were released after few hours.
At approximately 8:00 pm on Monday 2 September 2013, the police general investigation department detained Nael Attallah Abu Oda and confiscated his laptop.
On Wednesday 4 September 2013, he was referred to the internal security apparatus office.
In the morning hours on Saturday 31 August 2013, the police investigation department summoned 10 Fatah activists to its office.
Al Mezan has identified them as follows:
Omran Yousif Abu Oda, 32;
Akram Ibrahim Hamad, 48;
Shaher Jameel Al Masri, 33;
Nafez Mohammed Al Kafarna, 50;
Rashad Mohammed Al ‘Athamna, 45;
Wesam ‘Amr Al ‘Ammawi, 38;
Ghassan Shehda Abu Harbied, 39;
Ahmed Ghalib Al Masri, 47;
Mohammed Sabri Al Kafarna, 37; and
Mohammed Subhi Al Kafarna, 28
The summoned persons presented themselves at the apparatus office on the next day.
The police detained them for few hours and released them at 4:00 pm on the same day.
In their affidavits, the summoned persons stated that the police interrogated them about Fatah activities in Beit Hanoun.
The police forced them to sign a document committing them not to practice any Fatah related activity.
