In her affidavit to Al Mezan, Mrs.
Hamad stated that at approximately 8:00 am on Sunday 24 February 2013, she went to Erez crossing to travel to Ramallah to attend a meeting for the Central Committee for Fatah.
When she approached the internal security apparatus site which is close to the Erez crossing, one member of the apparatus force stopped her and asked her to hand over her passport and to wait in one of the rooms.
She waited for an hour and a half.
The officer then came and handed her the passport and informed her that she was banned from travelling for political reasons.
