Internal Security Apparatus Detains Six Former Security Agents in Middle Gaza District

At approximately 5:00 pm on Tuesday 16 October 2012, a force from the Internal Security Apparatus arrived at the houses of Merwan Khalid Abu Tawahena, 35; and Emad Jameel Abu Hassna, 32, confiscated their computers, and detained them at the apparatus office in Deir Al Balah.

On 13 October 2012, the apparatus delivered summons to the family of Sa’eed Mohammed Salman Abu Rkab, 47, demanding him to appear at the apparatus office immediately.
When Abu Rkab presented himself at the apparatus office, they detained him.
 
On 9 October 2012, a force from the Internal Security Apparatus arrived at the houses of Ahmed ‘Adel Mansi, 29; and Shareef Hamdan Khattab, 33, confiscated a computer from Mansi’s house, and delivered their families summonses to appear at the apparatus office immediately.
When they presented themselves at the apparatus office, the apparatus detained them and referred Khattab to the apparatus office in Gaza City.
 The six summoned persons are former security agents of the Ramallah Palestinian Authority, which is now inactive in Gaza.
