At approximately 9:00 am on Sunday 2 September 2012, Ihab Sufiyan Abu Nada died from wounds that he sustained when he committed suicide.
At approximately 10:00 am on Wednesday 29 August 2012, Ihab Abu Nada covered himself in fuel and set himself alight opposite Ash-Shifa Hospital west of Gaza City.
According to Abu Nada’s relatives, the bad economic situation of his family, the severe poverty, and his inability to find a job forced him to commit suicide.
