Internal Security Apparatus Detains Fatah Spokesperson for Several Hours on Political Grounds

At approximately 8:00 pm on Monday 26 March 2012, the Internal Security Apparatus detained Fayiz Mohammed Abu ‘Aetta, 43, a Fatah spokesperson, at its office in Jabaliya refugee camp.
  At approximately 1:00 am on Tuesday 27 March 2012, the Apparatus released him.
  According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Abu ‘Aetta was summoned on political grounds and detained in a room at the Jabaliya office, where Apparatus members discussed his recent statement on the fuel and electricity crisis.
  He was ordered not to speak about such issues at this time.
