On Saturday 25 March 2012, the Internal Security Apparatus summoned seven Fatah activists to its office in Rafah.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the Apparatus interrogation focused on an internal memorandum signed by the Fatah High Committee in Gaza concerning the fuel and electricity crisis and accusations of “provoking” people against the government in this connection.
The activists were released after the interrogation.
Al Mezan has identified them as follows:
· Sami Suliman Burhum, 37;
· Adnan Ibrahim Abu Hussein, 41;
· Emad Yousif Abdel Wahab, 44;
· Abdel Hadi Khalil Al Wawi, 28;
· Ashraf Saleh Jarbou’, 37;
· Faried Ahmed Abu ‘Ajaj, 38; and
· Mohammed Hussein Thabet, 33.
