At approximately 4:00 pm on Friday 23 March 2012, the Internal Security Apparatus served a number of Fatah activists in Middle Gaza district with summonses ordering them to promptly present themselves at the Apparatus office in Deir Al Balah.
When the summoned persons went to the Apparatus office they were detained, interrogated, and warned not to provoke citizens against the Gazan government in connection with the fuel crisis.
Afterwards the Apparatus released them, though some of the summoned persons were asked to present themselves at the Apparatus office again the next day.
