At around midday on Tuesday 14 February 2012, the Internal Security Apparatus detained Ahmed Ibrahim Mohammed Abu Ar-Rous, 32, as he was returning from Egypt via Rafah crossing.
Abu Ar-Rous is a resident of Al Bureij refugee camp.
In addition, at approximately 11:00 am on Sunday 12 February 2012, the Apparatus detained Basher Helmi Mahmoud Abu Dalal, 59, also at Rafah crossing.
Abu Dalal is from An-Nuseirat refugee camp.
Both men are officers of the Police Investigations Unit, one of the security arms of the Ramallah Palestinian Authority which is now inactive in Gaza.
