In the morning hours on Saturday 24 December 2011, the Internal Security Apparatus summoned 11 Fatah activists to its office in Deir Al Balah.
The summoned persons were ordered present themselves again at the Apparatus office on Monday 26 December 2011.
When they went the Apparatus detained them.
Al Mezan has identified them as follows:
· Hatem Ibrahim Qandeel, 36;
· Khalid Jaber Al Qrenawi, 44;
· Abdel Daem Jadallah Abu Lebda, 40;
· Rafat Khalil Weshah, 37;
· Rami Mohammed Shehada, 24;
· Nahedh Mohammed Mayyat, 21;
· Ali Abdallah Sedam, 40;
· Yaser Mustafa Al J’aedi, 37;
· Ibrahim Mohammed Hamada, 56;
· Hani Hamad, 27; and
· Samer Ismail Qandel, 44.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, they were still in detention as this news was being published at 2:12 pm on Wednesday 28 December 2011.
