At approximately 07:15 on Thursday, 10 November 2011, Ramadan Abdel Kareem Abu Jarrad, 41, was admitted to Beit Hanoun Hospital after sustaining wounds to the head.
He was referred to the intensive care unit at the Shifa Hospital in Gaza due to his critical injuries.
Two weeks later, his condition deteriorated and doctors decided to refer him to a hospital outside the Gaza Strip.
However, in the evening hours on Saturday, 26 November 2011, Abu Jarrad was pronounced dead.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Abu Jarrad was a resident of Ezbet Abed Rabbo in Beit Hanoun, in North Gaza district and was injured in a family feud.
