In the early morning hours of Tuesday 18 October 2011, number of injures from different parts of the Gaza strip were admitted to Gaza's hospitals.
The admission of injured lasted for the last evening hours of that day.
The number of injured stood at 20, sustaining diverse injures after people shot on air in celebration of the release of Palestinian detainees.
According to the medical sources, three out of the total of 20 injured sustained serious injuries.
The ministry of interior has ordered the gazan people to not fire on the air or even play with fireworks.
However, sound of shooting and explosions were heard from time to time in celebration of the release of Palestinian detainees.
The shooting increased after the Palestinian detainees leaved the Al Kateeba yard, the place which was allocated to the celebration, in the west of Gaza, and arrived at their homes, Al Mezan identified the names of the injured as follows:
The name of persons who are from the North Gaza district:
· Nader Hassan Abu Khosa, 24, sustained critical injures,
· Do'aa Wa'el Al Mash, 2, and;
· 'Atta Mohammed Khalil, 28, all of them from the North Gaza district.
The name of persons who are from Gaza district:
· Mohammed Khalifa, 24,
· 'Alaa Abu Salem, 14,
· Helal Samara, 24,
· Adel Rahman S'aiid Slmi, 28,
· Saher Mohammed 'Ammara, 41,
· Saiff-Allah Fares Slama, 5,
· 'Awni Zohair Salah, 24, sustained critical injures,
· Shahe Nahed Abu Al Kass, 7,
· Karam Mahmoud Hamouda, 19,
· Ienas Ahmad Shaker Shahin, 23, and;
· Remass Hassan Ahmad Al Gadba,2, all of them are from Gaza district.
The name of persons from Rafah:
· Khaled Hamdan Al Bahdari, 33, sustained critical injures
· Ibrahim 'Awad Ishtta, 21,
· Ghadeer Suleyman An-Nahal, 17,
· Rasha Samir Kabaja, 27,
· Mohammed Mohammed Salha, 21, and;
· Tariq Ibrahim Al Masri, 34, all of them is from Rafah.
