At approximately 9:00am on Wednesday 14 September 2011, the Internal Security Apparatus summoned Dr.
Muntasir Kamel Sawali to its office in Khan Younis.
He was detained and interrogated about his work, in the field of medical insurance for military employees of the Palestinian Authority (PA) in Gaza.
Sawali was assigned the responsibility of following up on the medical insurance files of PA military employees residing in the Gaza Strip.
In his affidavit to Al Mezan, Sawali stated that he had returned to his job after the reconciliation agreement between Fatah and Hamas in May 2011.
At approximately 2:00 pm on the same day as his detention, the Security Apparatus released him.
