BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Assistance given only to the Palestinian Authority does little to ensure long-term sustainability and helps to exacerbate the political divide between Fatah and Hamas, a report from the UK-based charity Oxfam said Friday.
Mahmoud Abu Rahma, a communications officer at Oxfam partner Al Mezan Centre for Human Rights, explained that the isolation of Hamas from donor funding had major consequences on key sectors critical for Gaza’s development.
