At approximately 6:00a.
m.
on Tuesday 28 June 2011, two unknown armed men opened fire at ‘Adel Ezzat Amum, 38, while he was on his way to work near the entrance of Al-Bureij refugee camp.
As a result, Amum sustained three bullet wounds in his arm and legs.
He was admitted to Shuhadaa Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah and then transferred to Shifa hospital in Gaza City.
The police arrested two suspects.
Amoum sells biscuits and is the breadwinner of a family that consists of seven members.
