On Tuesday 31 may 2011, the High Military Court in the Gaza Strip sentenced Fadel Muslim Ihbeis Shalouf, 25,to death by hanging.
He was sentenced to death after being convicted of spying and intervention to kill.
At approximately 7am on Sunday 10 January 2011, Fadel Shalluf was near Rafah coast when unknown persons kidnapped him and took him by car to unknown place.
The reasons behind the kidnap were unknown at that time.
On 17 January 2010, Popular Resistance Committees handed Abu Shalouf over to the internal security apparatus.
