At approximately 11:30am on Monday 2 May 2011, Nabil Mute' Ghalib Shahwan, 59, and Zakaria Mustafa As-Saqa, 49, were admitted to Naser Hospital in Khan Younis.
Nabil Shahwan was announced dead upon arrival to the hospital as he sustained several bullets in the head and the upper part of his body.
Medical sources described the injuries of Zakaria As-Saqa as critical as he was shot in the head.
At approximately 6pm on Wednesday 4 May 2011, medical sources announced his death.
According to information obtained by Al Mezan, gunfire was heard at the house of Nabil Shahwan, which is located in Khan Younis.
People gathered around the house and found two persons injured and a pistol.
The police arrived at the place of the incident, took the pistol and initiated an investigation into the incident.
The Ministry of Interior of the Government in Gaza (MoI) made a statement that was published on their website, which reads 'The police received information about gunfire in an apartment in Khan Younis.
A police force instantly went to the place of the incident.
The force found two persons one of whom was killed and the other was critically injured.
The two persons were promptly transferred to the hospital.

According to initial police investigations, it was a family feud that escalated, where small arms were used.
