At approximately 2:30am on Tuesday 29 March 2011, a locally-made rocket hit the house of Mohammed Ahmed Al Battesh, which is located in the Az-Zawia street in the As-Salam neighborhood, east of Jabalia town, in North Gaza district.
As a result, three persons were injured.
Al Mezan identified their names as follows:
· Haneen Khalil Al Battesh, 21, sustained injuries in her left hand and chest;
· 'Ashour Mohammed Al Battesh, 6 months, sustained injuries in the back, neck, and head; and
· Raed Jawhar Ibrahim Al Battesh, 35, sustained injuries in the head.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, the house is three stories high .
The rocket hit the southwestern window of the second floor and exited via the northern wall and exploded.
Three adjacent houses were partially destroyed due to the explosion.
