At approximately 2am on Thursday 24 March 2011, Israeli helicopters fired two missiles at an electricity generator of Gaza Power Plant, which is located in the Al Sheik 'Ijleen neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City. The generator supplies electricity to the southern parts of Gaza City, including the neighborhoods of Az-Zaitoun and Al Sheikh 'Ijleen, and other parts of Gaza.
